Myofascia

Myofascial release is a therapeutic technique that targets the connective tissue, or fascia, that surrounds and supports muscles throughout the body. This approach involves applying gentle pressure and sustained stretching to release tension and adhesions within the fascia, which can develop due to factors like injury, poor posture, or repetitive movements. By releasing these restrictions, myofascial release aims to improve flexibility, alleviate pain, and restore proper alignment and movement patterns. Through its focus on the interconnectedness of the body’s fascial network, myofascial release promotes overall relaxation and improved function, facilitating better mobility and enhanced well-being.
