    Reporting to the Assistant Coordinator of Sablon-Fit, the Trainer is responsible for advising clients on all aspects of training and health promotion. The Trainer must inform, correct, ensure safety and conduct training programs for members.

    Primary Duties and Tasks of the Position

    Evaluate the physical condition of members and establish an appropriate training program;
    Develop and follow up on personalized training programs;
    Set up training programs adapted for clients with reduced mobility following a thorough evaluation of their physical condition
    Assist and supervise clients with reduced mobility during certain exercises
    Follow-up and monitor the member’s progress according to the adaptations
    Take charge of and supervise new members and/or those with special needs (accidents, serious injuries and people with disabilities)
    Be present on the plateau to offer guidance, advice, assistance and motivation to all members;
    Be involved in the various programs and ensure their follow-up;
    Offer consultation services in kinesiology;
    Set up and facilitate workshops for the clientele;
    Promote the programs and sell memberships according to the specific needs of the members;
    Ensure the care and safety of all members on set;
    Ensure the proper functioning of the various equipment and clean them daily.

    Desired qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (or student) in Kinesiology or other related field or have a company-recognized fitness certification or hold a physical rehabilitation technique.
    • CPR and AED up to date.
    • Proficiency in Windows and Outlook environment.


    This job is considered part-time with an average schedule of 25 hours per week.
    Available days, evenings, and weekends
    Remuneration according to the current salary scale, level 2 Centre du Sablon
