Through structured in-water interaction between parent and child, we stress the importance of play in developing water-positive attitudes and skills. We provide Lifesaving Society Water Smart® tips on keeping your child safe in any aquatic setting. Certified instructors provide guidance and answers to your questions.

Babies and their caregivers work on rhythmic breathing, moving forward and backward, front and back float with recovery, and shallow water entries and exits.

AS SOON AS THE CHILD IS 24 MONTHS, HE CAN MOVE ONTO THE NEXT LEVEL: PARENT & TOT 3

Through structured in-water interaction between parent and child, we stress the importance of play in developing water-positive attitudes and skills. Toddlers and their caregivers work on submersion, front and back floats and glides, jumping into chest-deep water with assistance, kicking on front and front swim.

AS SOON AS THE CHILD IS 3 YEARS OLD, HE CAN MOVE ONTO THE NEXT LEVEL: Preschool 1

 PARENT & TOT 3 – Fear of water

Designed for children ages 3 to 4 who have never swum or are afraid of water, to teach them to enjoy the water with the parent.

Through structured interaction in the water, we emphasize the importance of play in developing positive attitudes and skills around water. We offer Lifesaving Society Aqua Bon tips to keep your child safe in all aquatic environments. Certified instructors lead the learning and answer your questions.

Children and caregivers learn immersion; front and back flotation and glides; chest-high jumping with assistance; belly kicking; and belly swimming.

THE CHILD CAN ADVANCE TO THE NEXT LEVEL if the instructor determines that they are ready. The instructor will also determine what level the child will be placed in.
